Christmas Ball

The Central Illinois English Country Dancers will be holding their nineteenth annual Christmas Ball on Saturday, December 14, 2013. The dance will be held at the Phillips Recreation Center, 505 W. Stoughton, Urbana, IL. The Ball will run from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., followed by a potluck dessert party with carol singing. There is a $7.00 suggested donation to help cover the cost of the Ball. Bring fruit or a dessert to share and get $1 off the admission price. Fans and finery are encouraged. All lovers of English Country dance and music are welcome.

Bring refreshments for the dessert party and get $1 off admission.

For those who are interested, the Urbana Country Dancers will be holding a contra dance on Friday, December 13, from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Phillip's Recreation Center, 505 W. Stoughton in Urbana. The Mean Lids will be playing and John and Kathy Coffman from Cape Girardeau, MO will be calling Come for both nights and make it a weekend.
